  • Research he worked on received the R&D 100 Award and the Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award.
  • Awarded a Third Millennium Medal from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

He has published a number of technical papers in refereed technical journals. He is an accomplished public speaker, having presented technical papers at a number of professional meetings. Previously, he was a Research Associate Professor and Lecturer at Texas A&M University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and has received the Project Management Professional Certification.
